Lisa Nguyen

My Friend Lisa died on January 9, 2011. We had a tribute show for her, and I made a book of 27 drawings/paintings of her, one for each year of her life. Here are a few of my favorites. She was a fashion plate, and loved all kinds of clothes and looks. I cut the book into thirds, so you could mix and match her head, torso and legs. She used to model for my Costumed Figure Drawing class, and some of the clothes are things I saw her wearing, but most of them were things I just imagined her wearing. It was very fun (and sad).
