Sketchcrawl at ICON5, NYC
Here are some sketches from the 'Sketchcrawl' event at the Illustration Conference I attended over the 4th of July in NYC. It was fun, and I would like to do more of that here at home. Some of my students were gathering to sketch this Thursday in Long Beach, but I am TEACHING, so I can't join in. But of course, you can just do it on your own too!

Hey Robin! Nice blog :D I like the sketches you did! Specially the kid with the tricycle. Simplistic and energetic! I'm going to NYC next week, not sure why I'm going...but while I'm there, I will check out their art/music scene, and perhaps, do some SKETCHES! Last time I went to check out "Tonic"(the basement club), the bands there were crazy...

Hey Robin,
Cool sketches, I want to attend one of these gatherings some day, it looks like alot of fun.
Hope all is going well at "the Beach!"
Take care
That one of the deli / coffee shop is very fun.
Great talent, Robin!
Nice, I would like to attend one of those conferences on day. Depends were they have the next one. I was talking to Joe Cepeda about them they sound awesome. I really like the sketch of the dog, you captured it well. I always have problems drawing dogs while they are running all over the place. Well take care.

Hi, thanks. I love drawing dogs. I want to have one again someday, maybe when I retire and can go on walks. I love David Hockney's paintings of his dogs.
I visited your drawings this morning. They are terrific. It is always a pleasure seeing your work.Fine and applied.
